BCF is having 25% camping this weekend, which also includes all gas refills.
Regardless of your local price for 9kg gas refills either $22.99 or $19.99 the club price is $14.99, which is a very decent price.
You must be a club member to access this deal, but joining is free and only needs a few details.

Was wondering who or why you would get negged for this? Then I realized it was likely jealously.
Onysius on 11/06/2016 - 14:08
Are you sure that they are safe? There might be a good reason why they were left dumped on the road.
[Deactivated] on 11/06/2016 - 14:12
backpackers with flights, can't take it with them, so they dump them, especially in Darwin.
phobaphobic on 12/06/2016 - 18:27
They do the same with cars/vans - Sydney streets are covered with rotting abandoned vehicles after backpackers have abandoned them after driving the coast.
easternculture on 11/06/2016 - 14:51
they get tested anyway before they refil them.
got a total of 3 now , all found on the road and replaced with new ones with swap and go lol

Do all outlets have gas refills?
Name on 11/06/2016 - 12:39
Is there a limit? I've got two that are empty and one that is almost empty
AssociatedReAvenger @ BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing on 11/06/2016 - 13:29
Technically two is the limit in NSW, but most stores will fill up to 4, as long as the manager is fine with it.

Lol. $22.95 with the discount at Belconnen.
AssociatedReAvenger @ BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing on 11/06/2016 - 13:32
Apologies, I don't know if there are any regional restrictions. The 25% camping normally is nationwide.

"Normal" price is supposedly $29.95. Why there should be any price differential is a mystery but I'd say gouging Canberra consumers would be high on the list.
AssociatedReAvenger @ BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing on 11/06/2016 - 13:49
Regional pricing is annoying yes, what it really means is that there are probably no competitors and that the gas supplier is charging more than other stores
Onysius on 11/06/2016 - 14:06
If you're in Canberra, and the BCF offer evidently doesn't apply here, it might be better to take advantage of the Bunnings $19.85 exchange deal instead.

@rich1is: Yes it's on my to-do list later today.
Plenty of competitors to BCF in Canberra, mostly better priced in my experience.

Yes
denlife on 11/06/2016 - 14:27
Where does it say that the club member price is $14.99? My local BCF is normally $22.99 and they quoted $17.25 over the phone to me (i.e. 25% off from $22.99). Would love to be able to show something to get the price down.. Cheers
Spending2Much on 11/06/2016 - 15:31
14.95 here…..And we are normally more expensive at everything

Got $14.99 at Belrose NSW. The staff knew nothing about the special, but honoured the OzB posting. Result!
